Our principal consultant, Ian Kirkby, served in the RAF as an officer for 25 years. One of his many appointments was as a squadron commander for a regional universities air squadron. In this role he qualified as a selection officer and prepared candidates for the intense selection process the RAF uses to choose its officers. His squadron achieved the highest pass rate of the 14 national squadrons.
